Save 653

About Us

A mission-driven foundation helping underserved youth see beyond their circumstances through mentorship, life skills, education, and career pathways.

Our Mission

At the Mariano Rivera Save 653 Foundation, our work is dedicated to providing children from impoverished families with life skills that will set them on the path to a brighter future.

Founded in 1998 by Mariano and Clara Rivera, and supported by caring volunteers and generous donors, the foundation strengthens communities through mentorship, college scholarships, back-to-school events, STEM learning opportunities, life skills, and vocational training.

Current Programming

The Save 653 Mentorship Program includes life-skills workshops, one-on-one coaching, and career exploration opportunities in digital and print media, culinary arts, and first responder fields.

Students are prepared for college and empowered to enter the workforce with confidence, practical skills, and determination to succeed in high-demand positions.
